Maxx Burton has officially signed the contract to wrestle J.P. Black in J.P.'s retirement match on February 21st. Burton was under pressure from IYFW Management since he was waiting to hear if H.C. Loc was taking him up on his rematch challenge at this show. IYFW assured Burton that Loc was not coming, so Maxx signed the contract at noon last Friday. What is interesting is that a day later, the word got out that H.C. Loc was indeed going to be there on Feb 21st. Burton was at that point already contractually obligated to wrestle J.P. and not be able to wrestle Loc if he was to accept the rematch challenge. When Burton was asked about this, his email response was "It will be an honor to wrestle my friend in his last match. As far as Loc goes, I will get my answer at this show no matter how I have to get it!"

So the match is set "The Dark Pony" J.P. Black vs. Maxx "The Ax" Burton for Feb 21st.

H.C. Loc is confirmed to be on the show, no word at this time on what match he will be in.

A True Final Encounter!

We have also received a very important piece of news that "The Final Encounter" IYFW Tag Team title match between The Williams Express and Divine Diviersity will be the last outing for one of these teams. A stipulation was put in the contract that whoever loses the fall for his team will be FIRED from IYFW. So this will truly be the final encounter as one of these teams will cease to be at the end of their match.
