Rumor Control for March 11, 2009
- As seen on the home page, it will be Drake Evans taking on Good Lord Willing at "Relentless Pursuit!" If Drake wins, he finally gets "The Mighty" Fronz Roddy in the main event for the IYFW Championship. Drake has made both Mackie Schrody and Al Jihad tap out; Willing is the last member of the Axis to beat. Given the track record and technical ability of both men, I think we will see a great championship main event.
- Superbeast is livid after his verbal confrontation with Vigo at "Last Ride of the Dark Pony." Superbeast is still on the injured list and can't compete, however "The Inhuman Monstrosity" has stated that on April 18th he will be "sending a message of 'Payne' to Vigo." According to the email received by The Office, that is the exact phrasing he used.
- The Williams Express will be in tag team action on April 18th. But who will challenge? A lot of talk is that Team Do or Die are going to get a shot at the belts. The self proclaimed tag team wrestling expert, Scott Scarsdale, has something to say about that. He wants a shot at the champions as well. We'll see who the IYFW Tag Team Champions will have face at "Relentless Pursuit!"
- What about the challenge to H.C. Loc from Maxx Burton? There has been no word from Loc about whether or not he will be accepting Burton's challenge. Maxx has been contacting the IYFW Office constantly, trying to see if Loc has emailed back or if they can coerce Loc into match. With the former ROH World Tag Team Champion having the right to pick and choose all of his matches, IYFW Management is powerless to force Loc into the match. What will Burton have to do to get an answer?
