Rumor Control for May 11, 2009

On Wednesday May 6th, the Vermont Women's Championship Committee informed IYFW that Lexie Fyfe will have to cancel her appearance on June 20th in the World Class Women's Wrestling match due to circumstances beyond her control. Once the word got out that Lexie's spot was open, many other women wrestlers looked to the opportunity to face the current SHIMMER and NWA World Champion MsChif. A decision has been made, and it will be New England based competitor Alexxus. She is regarded as a future star in the world of Women's Wrestling and has also performed on TNA Wrestling television. We at IYFW are looking forward to this match as it has a new flavor and will demonstrate the veteran champion against the hungry up-and-comer. We remind you that there will be no titles on the line, it is still pure women's wrestling.
