Rumor Control for June 23, 2010

Still Champion!
Guillaume deSade made a successful defense of the In Your Face Wrestling Championship against Drake Evans and Bobby Ocean. Although the end result was not without controversy, "The Modern Day Marquis" will live to fight another day, and he will want to prepare because...

Coronation Cup 2010 Winner Michael Monroe is the next challenger for the IYFW Championship
Since making his debut in IYFW at "Hanging by a Thread," Monroe has been gaining respect and admiration from the fans with his never-say-die attitude and high flying arsenal. It was thanks to those two attributes that he came home the 2010 Coronation Cup winner and will be the next to challenge deSade. But you can not take anything away from "The Pillar" Roman Dominguez, who also in a short time has made a name for himself and is not done looking for opportunity.

Burton & "The Beast"?
Maxx Burton, who was not scheduled to be at the event, showed up and watched the IYFW Tag Team title match from the entranceway. Vigo seemed quite distracted by Burton’s presence. So much so, that while being distracted, The Northern Studd hit Vigo with Fronz Roddy’s flexer to cause a DQ. After the match, Burton began another verbal tirade on Vigo, similar to the one C.J. Scott was subject to at "Amsterdamage." Burton spouted more talk of someone not listening to his advice and wasting his time and other propaganda. But the shocker was when Pierre Vachon jumped Vigo from behind and laid him out with a splash. Burton gleefully took credit for it. How did Burton get to Vachon? Why did Vachon do it? How will Vigo react?

"I know it was you!"
Those were the words being said by Jamar "Magic" Justice when he was trying to get to Adam Badger during intermission while many wrestlers on the roster were holding Justice back. Later we found out that Justice was accusing Badger of being the person who attacked him in the parking lot at "Amsterdamage," causing him not to be able to wrestle. This was the match where Badger replaced Justice and later deliberately threw the match.

Other points of interest:

  • The In Your Face Wrestling New Breed Championship will be coming soon. Many wrestlers are inquiring about contention. Already The Office has heard from Roman Dominguez, Adam Badger, Shiloh Robinson, Liam McFerran and Jamar "Magic" Justice.

  • IYFW feels that having had the Coronation Cup Tournament and several other events featuring The 4-Way Free-for-All match, to avoid it getting stale, it will remain only a special attraction.

  • What is a Double Jeopardy Match?

More news coming soon.
